Energy Savings & Tips

There are many ways to save energy around the house. Here are a few
of Tom's favourite tips that are simple to do, and inexpensive to purchase:

  • SAVE $40: Wash your clothes in cold water
  • SAVE $33: Set your thermostat 1ºC lower than usual
  • SAVE $19: Install a low-flow showerhead
  • SAVE $14: Turn off your computer at night
  • SAVE $9: Skip the heat-dry setting on your dishwasher
  • SAVE $4: Turn off lights when you leave the room
  • SAVE $4 per bulb: Switch to Compact Fluorescent (CFLs) bulbs
  • SAVE $3: Unplug your device chargers once they're done
  • Save $3: Set your fridge to 4ºC

Just by making these changes in your daily life,
you could SAVE OVER $100 on your heating bill!
